United We Stand: Our success in responding to the climate emergency will be determined by how we come together to find solutions that enable us to prosper as a community, even as we change how we power our world. CIRES aims to be at the centre of the discussion, generating solutions, building consensus and following through on actions.

On September 28th 2021 we will hold our inaugural conference, a face-to-face event (by invitation only, at this time) that will bring together representatives from municipalities, industry, local & provincial government, unions, health care and the first response community. With a series of presentations, facilitated discussions and Q&A sessions will hope to establish a sense of the challenge that we collectively face, the priorities for action and how we can work together with common purpose to find and deliver practical solutions.
